Job Context
Bangladesh Resource Center for Indigenous Knowledge (BARCIK) is a non-governmental non-profitable development organization. A group of development practitioners, researchers and social workers established BARCIK in 1997. BARCIK has been working in the fields of environment, biodiversity conservation and development with utmost commitment and purpose since its inception. BARCIK is looking for a well-qualified female candidate for the above post to work in Dhaka city with urban poor.
Job Responsibilities and skills
- Experienced in managing urban climate change, urban transformation issues.
- Conduct Participatory Action research both qualitative and quantitative data analysis and report preparation.
- Coordinate, lead and collaborate with stakeholders for interaction.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team.
- Skilled in Planning, monitoring and reporting
- Skilled in documentation, facilitation, presentation and reporting.
- Excellent skills in using commonly used software and social media/online communication.
- Excellent communication skills in Bengali and English
- Skilled in writing features and articles.

Educational Requirements
- Masters in Geography, Environmental Sciences and Urban and Regional Planning.

- At least 3 year(s)
