“Climate change is one of pressing crises in the world today. The change in climate has created negative impact in the life and livelihood of people in developing countries like Bangladesh. However, youths can play a leading role in combating climate crisis related problems if they are motivated and encouraged. However, in this case proper funding and cooperation is needed.”

The statement above made by author and researcher Pavel Partha in two-day training workshop on Climate Change, Crisis, Adaptation and  Resilience building organized by Bangladesh Resource Center for Indigenous Knowledge (BARCIK) recently in Rajshahi.

Highlighting the objectives of training and research he further said, ‘Youth can bring change in the world. It is necessary to make arrangements so that more youths from Bangladesh could participate in COP (Conference of Party) or climate related seminars abroad.
